How to scan E-tickets using the Halito! ScanApp

Introduction

Scan the QR codes on the personal e-tickets using the Halito! ScanApp. This gives you real-time insight into the (no)shows of your event.

Download the Halito! ScanApp

To get started, download the Halito! ScanApp on your mobile phone. This can be done via the Appstore (Iphone) or Playstore (Android). External parties such as hosts/hostesses can also download the app and start scanning without gaining access to your event site or guest list.

Add a registration point

It is possible to add multiple registration points. For example, add three registration points for general guest registration, a VIP desk and a registration point per workshop room. This way you know exactly which guests attended each session.

Add a ScanApp

  1. Go to Registration > Live Scanning and select the ScanApp tab
  2. click on the Add button
  3. Create a ScanApp for each mobile device that will be used for scanning and give it a clear name (e.g. host 1, responsible VIP area, employee name, …)
  4. Select the Registration Points that can be scanned via the ScanApp
Practical tip
You must add a separate ScanApp for each mobile phone. For example, add four ScanApps, two for the hosts at the reception, one for the host at an exclusive entrance for the VIPs and 1 for the host at the exit.

Start scanning

  1. Go to Registration > Live scanning  and select the tab ScanApp
  2. Click on to open the activation QR code
  3. Open the Halito! scanapp on your mobile phone and scan the activation QR code
  4. Enter your name
  5. Select the correct registration point
  6. Scan the QR code on the E-tickets.
  7. Get real-time insights in the (no)shows
