How to add Google Maps to a page?

If you are organizing a live event, you inform participants about the location. By adding an interactive map, visitors can orientate themselves better.
  1. Find the location via Google Maps
  2. Click on . In the popup window click on Embed a map
  3. A map view will appear on which you can change the position or zoom in/out
  4. Click Copy HTML
  5. In Halito! ,go to Communication > Pages
  6. Add a new page or edit an existing page
  7. In the editor, go to Insert > Media and in the popup window click on the Embed tab
  8. Paste the HTML code you copied ( CTRL+ V) and click the OK button
Practical tip
Make a responsive map so that it is displayed properly on any device. This is how you do this:
  1. Select the map and in the editor go to Insert > Media
  2. In the popup window, uncheck the Keep proportions checkbox
  3. Change the width to 100% and the height to 300 (pixels)
  4. Click on the OK button
Practical tip
It is not possible to add a map from Google Maps in an email campaign. Still, there is a way to inform participants about the event location:
  1. Take a screenshot of the map and upload it in the media gallery
  2. Edit an existing email campaign or add a new one and put the image in the campaign
  3. Link a hyperlink to this image that refers to the location page on the event website
