In the registration form

1. Go to Registration > Registration Form > Fields
2. Click the Add Field button or to edit an existing form field
3. In the popup window, choose the Drop-down menu, Checkbox, Yes or No or Amount
4. Fill in the settings for this form field and click on the Save button
5. Click the Add Field button and add a new form field for the follow-up question
6. The settings for the tree structure are shown at the bottom of the screen:
   • Select the first question as the determining field
   • Select the value
   • Select the option based on which the follow-up question should appear
   • Click on the Add button to add additional conditions
7. Click on the Save button

In the survey

1. Go to Communication > Surveys > Configuration > Form Fields
2. Click the Add Field button or to edit an existing form field
3. Fill in the settings for this form field, choose the field type for Drop-down menu, radio button, checkbox or numerical field and click on the button Save and close
4. Click the Add Field button and add a new form field for the follow-up question
5. Fill in the settings for this form field and click on the Save button
6. The settings for the tree structure appear at the bottom of the screen:
   • Select the first question as the determining field
   • Select the value
   • Select the option based on which the follow-up question should appear
   • Click on the Add button to add additional conditions
7. Click on the Save and Close button
