Check my internet speed
It can happen that it takes a little longer for a page to load or the connection of an online event is not stable. In that case, check the speed of your internet connection, because in many cases a slow connection is the cause.
Step 1: Search on Google for speedtest
Step 2: Click on the blue button run speed test. A popup window will open and the speed test will start automatically. This test may take a few minutes.
Ready! The speed test is completed and the results are displayed.
Do you have a slow connection? These tips will (hopefully) help:
- Use an internet cable instead of WiFi
- Close tabs you don't use and apps that are running
- Check whether (de)activating a VPN connection affects the internet speed
- Limit activities on the Wi-Fi network; do not download (large) files, do not stream media and do not play online games
