How can guests share the event website via social media?

Do you want visitors to be able to share your event website on their social media channels, so that your event gets extra exposure? Add 'share icons' on a page or in the footer of your event website.
  1. Go to Communication > Pages
  2. Add a new page or click on to edit an existing page
  3. Add (one of) the following codes at the desired position: #share_linkedin##share_twitter##share_whatsapp#
  4. Click on the Save and Close button
Practical tip
You can expand each share icon with a text, such as 'Share this event on LinkedIn'. Use the following code for this:

#share_linkedin|Share this event on LinkedIn#

Practical tip
It is possible to set a default message when the event website is shared via WhatsApp. Use the following code for this:

#share_whatsapp|I’m going to this event. Will you join me?| Share this event on WhatsApp#

Good to know
Make sure that the registration form is publicly accessible when you offer the opportunity to share the event website. Only in this way can non-invitees also register.
