How do I prevent an email campaign from ending up in the spam folder?

Optimal delivery of emails is important for successful event communication. All technical measures to deliver emails have been taken, but ultimately the receiving mail server is crucial.

Keep the following points in mind when designing email campaigns:

  • Have an up-to-date guest list of relations who expect to receive an email from you
  • Avoid words (especially in the subject) that are related to spam, such as medical treatments, drugs, sexually oriented topics, cryptocurrency and casinos
  • Do not use special special characters in words
  • Limit the number of images and hyperlinks in an email campaign
