In a registration form you can use three different ways to let guests make a choice, for example to choose a workshop or to indicate how they visit the event.

Selection list

A dropdown list is also known as a dropdown and is the most common field type for multiple answer questions. In the form 'Make a choice' is shown and the visitor clicks on the field, all options are displayed in a clear list.

Characteristics:

  • The form field requires little space in the registration form
  • The answers can be presented alphabetically or randomly
  • Only one answer can be selected
  • The given answer can be undone by choosing 'Make a choice'
  • The field type works seamlessly with limits on parts, confirmation emails based on a condition, and groups

Radio button

With a radio button, all answers are immediately displayed in the form, so that the visitor can see all the possibilities at a glance. The event site chooses by selecting a bullet for one of the answers.

Characteristics:

  • All answers are displayed directly below each other
  • The answers can be presented alphabetically or randomly
  • Only one answer can be selected
  • The answer given cannot be undone

Checkbox

The check box is also known as a 'check box'. In fact, the check box is a combination of the list box and radio button, but with an important difference.

Characteristics:

  • All answers are displayed directly below each other
  • The answers can be presented alphabetically or randomly
  • You as administrator determine how many answers can be given minimum / maximum; thus, in contrast to the selection list and radio button, multiple answers can be selected
