To import a guest list into Halito! you use a .csv file. This file must meet the following conditions:

  • The first row should consist of column headers, such as 'First name', 'Name', 'E-mail address', etc. The order of the column headers is not important, nor is it necessary that the column headers match the form fields in Halito!
  • Column with unique e-mail addresses
  • If a selection list has been used in the registration form (for example, for the salutation), then copy the selection option exactly in the guest list, including capital letters.
  • Save the guest list as a .csv file (separated by list separators)

Handige tip!
Communiceer je in verschillende talen, houd dan ook rekening met deze tips:
    • Include a column in which you indicate the guest's language (in lower case, ie: nl, en, fr, de, etc.). As a result, each guest receives the communication in his / her own language and the event site is also opened in this language.
    • If, for example, the salutation is included in the guest list and if you have used a selection list for this in the registration form, then mention the salutation in the standard language of the event site in the guest list. If the default language is set to Dutch, use the salutation 'Mevrouw' with English-speaking guests.

Handige tip!
Bestaan de gastenlijst uit namen met speciale karakters, zoals bijvoorbeeld é, à, ï, è en ü, volg dan de volgende stappen zodat deze karakters correct worden geïmporteerd:
    1. Locate the .csv file on your PC or laptop
    2. Right-click on the file and choose Open With> Notepad
    3. Choose File> Save As …, select 'UTF-8' under 'Encoding' and click on the 'Save' button
    4. Import the guest list

If you use Office 2016 or Office 365, you can immediately save the file correctly by choosing 'CSV UTF-8 (comma separated)'.
